The Tortal Pty Ltd operates as an online marketplace connecting independent businesses, contractors (delivery partners), and customers. We do not act as a merchant, seller of goods, or transportation provider. Our role is limited to providing the web-based technology platform.

3. Account Registration and Security

Eligibility

Users must be of legal age in their jurisdiction to access or use the platform.

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information when necessary.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree not to misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activity, violate applicable laws, or interfere with the operation and security of the platform.

5. Payments, Fees, and Authorization Holds

Transactions

The Tortal Pty Ltd facilitates payments between customers and merchants or contractors.

Authorization Holds

Temporary authorization holds may be placed on your nominated payment method for the upfront price of an order.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the issue. All approved refunds will be processed according to applicable payment provider timelines.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the platform, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software, remain the exclusive property of The Tortal Pty Ltd. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal and lawful purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Tortal Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid through the platform during the preceding six months.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon publication on the platform. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
